Jesus was the Master of Social Media

Have you ever pondered the difficulty of sending a message across millennia? Where would you store it? What place would last for thousands of years? What medium would you write your message on? What material would last that long? Also, what about the language? Will the language you write your message in still be around in thousands of years? Would it be possible to provide a translation key if your language weren’t around any longer? How would you create such a key so future generations could translate your dated message?

As you can see once you start getting the little thinker to tick, the task of sending a message across thousands of years is no simple task. The only messages known to us that have “survived” have either done so by accident, or have been vitally important. In both cases, some of the original intent of the message was lost due to mistranslation, or to misunderstanding in translation. In many cases, the message being sent — regardless of its importance — was simply lost to time, and will never be recovered.

So, the question is, how does one actually accomplish such a task if they wish to do so? I think I may know of a person who knows the answer: Jesus. I know, I know… I can already hear your eyes rolling hard. Hold on for a second though. I think what I am about to say is quite profound.
